This is letter from Ali Ahmad Fatmi. He has been a good friend of Muslim Saleem. During my stay at Allahabad, we had daily sittings in which literary issues were discussed. Fatmi had written this letter in 1982. Recently, when I asked him over mobile phone to send his resume for posting in the web directory "Urdu poets and writers of India" on khojkhabarnews.com (year 2010), he acted in a weird manner and has not sent his resume as on August 16, 2010. Fatmi is at present head of Allahabad University's Urdu department.In fact, Fatmi had written this letter after reading my ghazal "jab bhi jazbon ke liye..." in Shair monthly magazine, praising it copiously.

Azhar Sabri was a good poet and wrote with the pen name "Shakaib". He was an income tax officer and lived in the lane near Shahjehanabad police station. He had organised a 'nashist' (poetic gathering) in the hour of myself (Muslim Saleem) and Kusum Parashar in 1982. Above is the photograph of the report he had written for the coverage of the gathering.
